Creates a new promotion.

This API is currently in Feature Preview and can be subject to changes at later point.
Requires MANAGE_DISCOUNTSpermission.

Triggers the following webhook events:

  • PROMOTION_CREATED (async): A promotion was created.
  • PROMOTION_STARTED (async): Optionally called if promotion was started.
